On Monday, August 20, Jingmei Wang passed her oral examination for her Master of Science in Textile Engineering degree! The title of her research is “Antimicrobial Finishing of Hernia Mesh with Carboxymethyl Chitosan.”
The members of her examining committee, Dr. Wendy Krause (TECS) and Dr. Ashley Brown (BME), were impressed with her ability to answer their probing questions about polymer chemistry, antimicrobial test methods and surgical procedures related to hernia repair.Well done Jingmei!! We are really proud of you and what you have accomplished in a short space of time!!
