On Tuesday, Nov 27, 2018, Daxian Zha passed the oral examination for her Master of Science in Textile Engineering degree with a minor in Biomedical Engineering! This morning Daxian gave us a long and detailed oral presentation about her research project related to designing and evaluating an antimicrobial wound dressing spacer fabric for burn and diabetic patients who need vacuum assisted wound therapy.
The members of her examining committee, Dr. Ahmed El-Shafei (TECS), Dr. Samuel Hudson(TECS) and Dr. Ashley Brown (BME) were impressed with her ability to answer many questions with confidence. Well done, Daxian!
