Anna is a senior graduating this fall in Fashion and Textile Management with a concentration in Fashion Development and Product Management. She has grown up surrounded by the visual and musical arts with a love for clothing, fabric, and colors, which led her to the Wilson College of Textiles at NC State University. She loves to have fun and fill up her time with a wide variety of enriching experiences with her family, friends, and dogs. She finds ways for her interests of music, fitness, and food to influence her life, education, and career. After graduation, Anna intends to work as a product developer or technical designer for an established textile company and to continue learning about the ever-growing textile industry and trends.
Anna is creating a co-ed athleisure collection for the athletes of Special Olympics North Carolina. It is bold and colorful, aiming for each athlete to stick out from any crowd or competitor. The entire line will be based on cotton’s durability, breathability, and ease of care, allowing the athletes to maintain the life of their own clothing. With the basic block styles, each athlete should feel comfortable with the ability to go anywhere and do anything in these garments. Anna chose this idea to not only challenge herself, but to have fun creating each outfit and working with the athletes and their families throughout the duration of semester.
