How-to Add a Network Printer

Printers that are network connected can be added to Textiles computers for your printing needs. Please follow the instructions below to get printing through the network.

1. Open up File Explorer
2. Type \\tex-vm-print.tx.ncsu.edu into the center top bar and hit Enter
   
3. Search for the room number that the printer is located in using the search bar on the top-right of File Explorer
   
4. Double click the printer and wait for the printer to be installed
5. Once installed, the printer will be available in your computer’s list of printers
