Current Textile Student Scholarships

The Wilson College of Textiles is fortunate enough to provide financial assistance to almost one-fourth of textile students. Scholarships through the Wilson College of Textiles are typically renewable for four years if received as a freshmen.

Scholarships and Financial Aid

The two basic types of financial aid available to undergraduate students are merit and need-based awards. Merit based awards recognize and encourage academic success, leadership and service. Need-based awards are made on the basis on the abilities of students and their families to meet the costs of attending NC State.

Merit-Based Awards

The selection process of these awards focuses on academic excellence, demonstrated leadership ability, past activities in both the school and community setting, writing ability, evidence of personal initiative and motivation in the textile industry.
