Internal Transfers (CODA)

If you are a current NC State student interested in transferring into a major in the Wilson College of Textiles, please refer to the Change of Degree Application (CODA) site for detailed information.

For students interested in any Wilson College of Textiles major, it is advisable to take T 101 – Strategies for Success in the Wilson College of Textiles to be more certain of your interest. Prospective CODA students should enroll in section 601 (online); this section is offered each fall and spring and there are no restrictions so students should be able to enroll on their own.

To request enrollment in other Textiles classes that have seat restrictions, please use our Textiles Course Request Form.

Many of our majors require specific course sequences that need to be completed in a timely manner and should be started as early as possible. This video provides an overview of our undergraduate majors, resources and opportunities for students, as well as course recommendations for prospective CODA students. In addition, we encourage prospective CODA students to work with our advisors as early as possible. After viewing the video, please contact one of the academic advisors in Wilson College if you have specific questions about the CODA process, or to discuss course requirements for our majors.
