Founded in 1937, the FSF started as the Young Menswear Association (YMA), an informal group educating the next generation of professionals. Over 80 years later, YMA has evolved into the Fashion Scholarship Fund (FSF), the oldest and foremost fashion-oriented education and workforce development nonprofit in the country.

The FSF supports the career of the country’s most promising fashion students from all backgrounds. It awards over $1.2 million each year to help students succeed in all sectors of the industry: design, merchandising, analytics, marketing and supply chain, among others. The FSF also provides scholars with coveted internship and career opportunities, mentorships, networking and access to the industry’s most influential leaders and companies.

In February/March, the FSF applications process begins and typically runs through September. Information will be posted on the Wilson College of Textiles Scholarship pages as well as disseminated through the Career Services Office. For additional information, please contact Jeff Sackaroff.
