To earn your training certificate, you must attend training and pass an assessment at the end of the training. The assessment is open notes. To be a certified belt, you must complete the requirements for your training certificate plus complete a project suited to the level of training. You must demonstrate an understanding of the techniques. There is no savings requirement.

While many training providers will try to impress you by stating their project is authorized or accredited through this or that organization, the truth is there is NO governing body for LSS training. You are better served to review the programs on their requirements and how they support their students versus a claim of accreditation. Look for well-respected programs that meet your needs.
