NCSU Parking

Parking is tightly controlled on campus; if you plan to drive, you must have the proper pass and park in the designated deck. If you get a ticket, we cannot fix it!

  • Daily Parking: Take note of your license plate number and the zone number on the ParkMobile sign. 5 Ways to Pay: Use the ParkMobile mobile app, mobile website, Text 77223, call 1-877-727-5301, kiosk or QR code (if available) and enter the zone number listed on the ParkMobile sign. Pay using a credit card. The following are a few parking places that are close to the Hunt Library.
  • Hourly Parking: Hourly parking is also available in the Poulton Pay Lot, across the street from the first floor entrance to the Hunt Library, and at the Partners Way Parking Deck, at Partners Way and Varsity Drive. Parking spots are numbered, and there is a pay station that accepts debit and credit cards only (no cash). You can also pay online through ParkMobile.
  • Accessible Parking: If you have a DMV-issued disability placard and need accessible parking on campus, please send a photo or copy of your DMV disability placard and a note about where you need parking access on campus to cblakel@ncsu.edu. Once this information is submitted, Transportation will register your placard into our system and work with you to determine the most appropriate option available. Please be aware that NC State Transportation cannot allow customers to park in ADA spaces on campus for any length of time without a DMV placard.
  • Free Parking After 5pm: Parking is free and open to the public after 5pm on weekdays and throughout the weekend, except in reserved lots/spaces and “No Parking” areas,” which are enforced 24 hours. This option will be handy for the Early-bird Registration on Tuesday afternoon, October 18, Wilson College of Textiles, Atrium.
