A huge congratulations to Radhika Vaid!! Out of 104 posters, Radhika was one of the three winners who were selected for the ‘Best Poster Award!’at Aachen-Dresden-Denkendorf (ADD) Textile conference in Stuttgart, Germany! She presented her Ph.D. dissertation and poster on “Integration of experiments and MD simulations to determine degradation of P4HB for surgical suture applications.”

Her project portrayed a study towards medical applications of resorbable polymers and understanding their performance inside the human body. Under the supervision of Wilson College of Textiles’, Dr. Martin W. King and Dr. Melissa Pasquinelli, she is continuing to experiment and simulate trials for her research. The Wilson College of Textiles is proud of her, and we have no doubt that Radhika will continue to succeed in her endeavors!
